What information Dance Seconds collects, why it is used, and how to request access or deletion.
Information collected
Dance Seconds receives sign-in identity information from the platform, such as email and display name. It stores account details, listings, costume photos, favorites, offers, reservation orders, shipping addresses, tracking information, policy acceptances, reports, support requests, moderation actions, and basic service logs.
How information is used
Information is used to operate accounts and listings, moderate unsafe or deceptive activity, create reservations, arrange shipping, provide order support, enforce policies, prevent abuse, keep records, meet legal obligations, and prepare for compliant payment and tax processing.
Information shared
A seller receives the recipient name and shipping address only for an order they must ship. Service providers may process hosting, identity, storage, security, payments, tax, communications, or support information under their terms. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users and marketplace safety. Dance Seconds does not currently sell personal information.
Retention and security
Data is retained only as reasonably needed for marketplace operations, disputes, safety, fraud prevention, tax or legal records, and system recovery. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online system can guarantee absolute security. Shipping data should not be copied or used outside the order purpose.
Children and teens
Dance Seconds is designed for adult parents, guardians, studios, and adult dancers. Accounts and transactions are for users age 18 or older, and the service is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13. If Dance Seconds learns that a child’s information was collected, a parent or guardian may request review and deletion through Support.
Your choices and requests
Use Support or email support@danceseconds.com to request access, correction, deletion, or review of personal information. Some records may be retained when needed for an open order, safety report, dispute, fraud prevention, tax obligation, or other legal requirement.
